Morphology of weak lensing convergence maps

We study the morphology of convergence maps by perturbatively reconstructing their Minkowski Functionals (MFs). present a systematics using set three generalised skew-spectra as function source redshift and smoothing angular scale. Using an approach based on pseudo-$S_{\ell}$s (PSL) we show how these spectra will allow reconstruction MFs in presence arbitrary mask inhomogeneous noise unbiased way. Our theoretical predictions are recently introduced fitting to bispectrum. compare our results against state-of-the art numerical simulations find excellent agreement. The can be carried out controlled manner harmonics $\ell$ $z_s$ which allows for greater handle any possible sources non-Gaussianity. method has advantage estimating topology directly shear data. also weak lensing inferred from Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) observations; that, though less significant at low redshift, post-Born corrections play important role modelling non-Gaussianity higher redshift. cross-correlations estimates different tomographic bins.
